160820-N-SX983-190 SUNGAI PINANG, Indonesia (Aug. 20, 2016) Builder 2nd Class Matthew Spence, from Chicago, attached to Amphibious Construction Battalion One, fist-bumps a local child near a construction site in Sungai Pinang. U.S. Navy Seabees attached to ACB 1, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Four, and Tentara Nasional Indonesia Marines are working together to build a new public restroom in Sungai Pinang during Pacific Partnership 2016. This is the fifth time Pacific Partnership has visited Indonesia. Partner nations are working side-by-side with local organizations during disaster response training, civil engineering projects, Women, Peace, and Security seminars, medical subject matter expert exchanges and a live field training exercise aimed at improving the capacity of local government, civilian agencies and partner militaries to collectively respond in crisis.
