Jonathan Brown and his 6-year-old son, Hayden Brown, share a moment, Aug. 17, 2016, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Scott AFB teamed up with Alton VFW 1308 and hosted Hayden as an honorary pilot for the day. Hayden Brown has a rare degenerative disease called Metachromatic Leukodystrophy, commonly referred to as MLD, and throughout this illness, he has shown tremendous courage and determination.
