U.S. Marines of the Marine Corps Security Cooperation Group rescue simulated wounded civilians while conducting a town assault scenario during a mission rehearsal exercise (MRE) at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany, Aug. 22, 2016. The MRE is a U.S.M.C. lead exercise involving over 1,100 Soldiers from Georgia, Hungary and the U.S. The MRE is based on the current operational environment and incorporates lessons learned in order to prepare the Georgian’s 32nd Infantry Battalion for offensive, defensive, and deployment in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel.
