SAN DIEGO - Marines with combat cargo guide Light Armored Vehicles on to a Landing Craft Air Cushion during the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit's Composite Training Unit Exercise aboard the USS Makin Island (LHD-8), Aug. 14, 2016. COMPUTEX is the second at-sea training evolution, bringing the 11th MEU and Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) 5 together again to further refine how they will execute operations together while deployed in the 5th and 7th Fleet’s areas of responsibility later this year.
