Command Sgt. Maj. Brian C. Rarey, 1st Special Forces Command, awards the noncommissioned officer winner of 1st Special Forces Command 2016 Best Warrior Competition with an Army Commendation Medal and a coin on May 13, 2016 at Fort Bragg, N.C. Rarey recognized the runners up and the winners for the best warrior Soldier and noncommissioned officer. The competition consisted of an army physical fitness test, land navigation, simulated call for fire, M4 qualification, 12 mile road march immediately followed by a stress shoot, combatives tournament, obstacle course, written exam, and oral board were the Soldiers were tested on basic warrior tasks.
