    USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76)

Seaman Jason Henry sits in the driver station of a shipboard fire-fighting and rescue vehicle with Seaman Alex Lopez during a fast cruise flight deck drill aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Henry and Lopez are part of Ronald Reagan's Crash and Salvage crew, the flight deck's "fire department", responsible for fighting aircraft fires and rescuing personnel and operating all mobile fire-fighting equipment. During fast cruise the crew trains and determines if Ronald Reagan is fully functional for sea operations. Ronald Reagan is currently performing crew certification training to prepare for upcoming at sea periods. (U.S. Navy photo by Petty Officer 3rd Class Dylan McCord)
