Paratroopers with 1st Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, partnered up to assemble weapons at one station of the the 1/73 Spur Ride May 12. Soldiers assisted their blindfolded teammates to put together weapons by handing them pieces and talking them through the process while a "Spur Holder" (left) supervised. The spur ride is an annual event that tests the motivation of each candidate, and gives them the opportunity to earn spurs and Stetson hats of their own.
