NEW LONDON, N.C. – North Carolina National Guard Soldiers, Community Leaders and Tarheel Challenge Academy Staff fill the new female barracks for a ceremony at the Tarheel Challenge Academy in New London, North Carolina on Aug. 12, 2016. The barracks, known as Veteran’s Hall, will house up to 50 cadets and was funded by a $500,000 donation from the State Employee’s Credit Union Foundation.
