Master Toru Kiyan taught Marines in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor Course basic Okinawa Kenpo Karate moves such as blocks, finger thrust, and different kicks. The class was integrated with an intensive three-week long program which Marines must undergo to teach the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program to other Marines. Gutierrez is the receiving noncommissioned officer with G-4, logistics, Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installations Pacific-Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, Japan.
