Airborne Soldiers must jump quarterly to maintain an active jump status. As a sub-unified command of U.S. Special Operations Command under the operational control of U.S. Pacific Command, SOCPAC serves as the functional component for all special operation missions deployed throughout the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
