Colin Frye and Anderson Darby move sand around an augmented reality sandbox while attending a week-long STEM-based camp hosted by STARBASE Martinsburg, July 29 at the 167th Airlift Wing. The AR sandbox, the newest tool in the STARBASE Martinsburg classroom, allows users to create topography models by shaping real sand, which is then augmented in real time by an elevation color map, topographic contour lines, and simulated water.
