Marines with Battalion Landing Team 3/8, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepare a simulated casualty for transport onto a Navy MH-60S Seahawk from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Two Two during a Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure exercise aboard SS Cape Ann on the James River near Fort Eustis, Va., April 29. 26th MEU is embarked aboard USS Kearsarge, USS Carter Hall, and USS New York for Amphibious Squadron/ Marine Expeditionary Unit Integration training. PMINT integrates 26th MEU Marines with their Navy counterparts to train in the planning and execution of missions they could conduct when they deploy together this fall.
