Marines with Reconnaissance Platoon, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit are flown in by a Navy MH-60S Seahawk from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 22 to fast rope onto the deck of SS Cape Ann to conduct a Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure exercise on the James River near Fort Eustis, Va., April 2910. 26th MEU is embarked aboard USS Kearsarge, USS Carter Hall, and USS New York for Amphibious Squadron/Marine Expeditionary Unit Integration training. PMINT integrates 26th MEU Marines with their Navy counterparts to train in the planning and execution of missions they could conduct when they deploy together this fall.
