Sgt. 1st Class Dominador Rubang, the NATO Brigade noncommissioned officer candidate, labors on an essay on “Day 0” of the European Best Warrior Competition Aug. 7 on Camp Aachen. Some 21 candidates will compete for top honors during the weeklong competition at the Grafenwoehr Training Area. Organizers will unveil the region’s ultimate warriors during an awards ceremony slated for early afternoon Aug. 11 at the Tower Barracks Physical Fitness Center. Winners will compete against top troops from across the service at the Department of the Army BWC Sept. 26-Oct. 3.
