Staff Sgt. Robert J. Condley delivers a class on beach insertion from combat rubber raiding crafts, July 27, 2016, on Motutapu Island, Tonga, during a multi-national, bilateral exercise as part of Task Force Koa Moana’s deployment in the Asia-Pacific region. The service members utilized CRRCs and their capabilities to operationalize USNS Sacagawea (T-AKE 2), conduct beach insertion training and to move supplies and personnel from ship to shore during the exercise designed to increase interoperability and relations. Condley, from Boise, Idaho, is an infantryman with Task Force Koa Moana and is originally assigned to Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
