FORT CARSON, Colorado - Soldiers from 32 teams within the 4th Infantry
Division and Fort Carson competed in the Iron Horse Week 2016, 4th
Inf. Div., first day of basketball competition today. Iron Horse Week
is a four-day celebration of the Iron Horse Division's history,
camaraderie and esprit de corps. During the week of friendly
competition and warrior events, Soldiers prove their mettle and strive
to have their unit achieve the overall objective of earning the Iron
Horse Division Commander's Cup. Other events include flag football,
softball, ultimate Frisbee, combatives, combat swim, golf,
marksmanship, medical stakes and orienteering. (U.S. Army photo by
