U.S. Marine Sgt. Javier Villegas, a crew chief with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron-363, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command, fires a .50 caliber machine gun during aerial gunnery training from an MV-22 Osprey over the Arabian Gulf, July 27, 2016. The squadron provides SPMAGTF-CR-CC with assault support, as well as transport of combat troops, supplies and equipment during expeditionary, joint or combined operations. SPMAGTF – CR – CC is a self-sustaining expeditionary unit, designed to provide a broad range of crisis response capabilities throughout the Central Command area of responsibility, using organic aviation, logistical, and ground combat assets, to include TRAP and embassy reinforcement.
