Capt. Nelson, a KC-135 Stratotanker pilot assigned to the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, inspects the rear landing gear tires before a sortie at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, June 30, 2016. Airmen from the 340th EARS refueled the Royal Danish Air Force's F-16 Fighting Falcons over Iraq, in support of Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve. The U.S. and more than 60 coalition partners work together to eliminate the terrorist group ISIL and the threat they pose to Iraq and Syria.
