The sign above, formerly hung in the Task Force Iron Claw Academy school house, Hodge Hall, was so named in honor of Sgt. Jeremy Hodge from Rushylvania, Ohio. Hodge, a member of 612th Engineer Battalion, was killed in action in October 2005, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his humvee while on a route-clearance mission. The sign will accompany the 16th Eng. Brigade back to Ohio to be presented to Hodge?s family. (Photo by: Spc. Dan George)
