Servicemembers assigned to the Special Operations Command South hook up their static lines in preparation to jump out the door of a C-130 aircraft during an airborne operation April 22 at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla. The operation allows airborne-qualified personnel to maintain current airborne proficiency and mission readiness in response to any contingency response force in the command's area of focus, which spans from the Caribbean, Central and South America.
