Tanner J. Gunderson, an armorer with 1st Battalion 133rd Infantry Regiment fired an M2 .50 caliber machine gun during weapons qualification at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The Iowa Army National Guard soldiers are conducting their annual training, in part, to support the U.S. Army Pacific "Arctic Anvil" training exercise being held at Fort Wainwright Alaska.
