Ryley Sweet drives an assault amphibious vehicle from amphibious assault ship USS San Diego to HMAS Canberra, July 18, 2016, off the coast of Hawaii. The Marines are participating in the Rim of the Pacific 2016, a multinational military exercise, from June 29 to Aug. 8 in and around the Hawaiian Islands. Participation in RIMPAC will help us develop mutual trust and respect across the joint and combined team through increased understanding of allied and partner cultures, competencies, and capabilities. Sweet is an assault amphibious vehicle driver with Combat Assault Company, 3rd Marine Regiment, and a native of Kansas City, Missouri.
