A crowd of frustraded local Iraqis try hand Marines reciepts given to them by their government to fill propane tanks used to fuel cooking stoves and various other houshold appliances. The crowd gathered outside a major propane factory outside of Fallujah where Marines from 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, were trying to establish a more efficient system for people to claim their share of the fuel. Hundreds of Iraqis grew anxious and angry at the factory workers who were unable to control the huge group frantically trying to rush into the gates. Marines quelled the crowd, avoiding a situation that could have turned violent.
