The 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit hosted flight deck landing qualifications for Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command MV-22's, demonstrating interoperability between Navy and Marine Corps units. Two MV-22 Osprey from VMM-363, SPMAGTF-CR-CC, landed on the deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), July 7, 2016. The Boxer is currently in support of the 13th MEU operating in and around the Central Command area of responsibility. SPMAGTF-CR-CC is forward deployed in several host nations, with the ability to respond, rapidly, to a variety of contingencies
