An aviation boatswain’s mate guides an MV-22 Osprey from VMM-363, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, to land on the deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), July 7, 2016. The 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit hosted flight deck landing qualifications for SPMAGTF-CR-CC V-22's, demonstrating interoperability between Navy and Marine Corps units . The Boxer is currently in support of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit operating in and around the Central Command area of responsibility. SPMAGTF-CR-CC is forward deployed in several host nations, with the ability to respond, rapidly, to a variety of contingencies.
