Patriot Academy graduates Pfc. Jacob Anderson and Pfc. Tariq Drogomer plant one of 47 oak trees at North Vernon City Park in Indiana, signifying the first class of the National Guard Patriot Academy. They also planted 150 trees at the local Muscatatuck Park and gave 200 tree saplings to local school children. The class of former dropouts graduated March 18 with their high school diplomas and will ship to advanced individual training through the beginning of summer.
