160713-M-OI464-006 PACIFIC OCEAN (July 13, 2016) - Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman Roger Buck performs traumatic intervention on a simulated casualty. The sailors are participating in Rim of the Pacific 2016, a multinational military exercise, from June 29 to Aug. 4 in and around the Hawaiian Islands. The Navy medical personnel attached to the Marine Corps are part of a III MEF brigade joined with an amphibious squadron to form a Navy-Marine Corps team capable of any amphibious mission. Buck is a native of Niceville, Fla. and is the 3d Marine Regiment’s Medical senior enlisted leader.
