U.S. Marines splash enjoy crafting bamboo rafts as part of jungle survival training, July 13, 2016, at Ovalua, Fiji, during a multi-national, bilateral exercise the Republic of Fiji Military Forces. During the exercise the Marines and Soldiers have conducted patrol base operation training, live fire ranges and jungle survival training to increase interoperability and relations as part of Task Force Koa Moana’s deployment in the Asia-Pacific region. The Marines are with Task Force Koa Moana, and are originally assigned to 1stk Battalion, 1stk Marine Regiment, 1stk Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
