U.S. Marines and Soldiers with the Republic of Fiji Military Force hike through the jungle to conduct survival training, July 11, 2016, at Ovalau, Fiji, as part of a multi-national, bilateral exercise. During the exercise the forces will conduct patrol base operation training, live fire ranges, jungle survival and other infantry-based training to increase interoperability and relations. The Marines are with Task Force Koa Moana, originally assigned to 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
