A drill instructor with Receiving Company, Support Battalion, instructs a recruit to move faster during receiving at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, July 11. While recruits are on the depot, they will have drill instructor supervising them every day, everywhere they go. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Lima Company is scheduled to graduate Oct. 7.
