Recruits from Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct crunches during an inventory physical fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, July 11. Recruits took an initial PFT in week 4 of training, giving them a chance to see the improvements they made in six weeks. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Hotel Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 5.
