RALEIGH, N.C. - In honor of the Warrant Officers Corps 98th anniversary; the day Congress authorized the creation of the Army Mine Planter Service warrant officer ranks and grades, NCNG warrant officers, officers, and noncommissioned officers gathered in the JFHQ auditorium for an impromptu concert presented by NC Guard’s 440th Army Band. At the end of the concert an official warrant officer painting called 'The Quiet Professional' was presented and will be displayed at JFHQ.
