Two Landing Craft Air Cushions are parked aboard the USNS John Glenn at sea, near Camp Pendleton, Calif., July 11, 2016. 1st Truck Support Battalion, in conjunction with U.S. Merchant Marines, rehearse the offloading of vehicles during a skin to skin maneuver for the PACOM Amphibious Leaders Symposium (PALS) demonstration. PALS brings together senior leaders of allied and partner nations from the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to discuss key aspects of maritime/amphibious operations, capability development, crisis response, and interoperability.
