U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Cory Hornaday, a UH-60 Black Hawk medevac helicopter crew chief with Task Force Dragon, 40th Combat Aviation Brigade, Combined Joint Forces Land Component Command – Operation Inherent Resolve, searches for obstacles, power lines, and additional hazards during a limited visibility landing during medevac training in northern Iraq, July 3, 2016. The landing was conducted to simulate realistic medevac scenarios during combat operations and to maintain pilot and crew member proficiency on safety and precautionary measures.
