Approximately 25 Soldiers from these three Army Reserve detachments provided direct military police support for their active duty counterparts permanently stationed at Camp Zama by conducting patrols, directing traffic and helping patrons during this public extravaganza that attracted thousands of American and Japanese citizens to Camp Zama to celebrate America’s 240th year of independence. These detachments also attended classes, earned certifications, participated in training events and performed real-world missions as part of its first ever three-week Annual Training exercise in Japan.
