A U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa takes-off from Morón Air Base, Spain, June 27, 2016. The current Aviation Combat Element composed of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 263 and a detachment from Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252 conducted a wide range of missions in support of bilateral and joint training exercises in Europe while maintaining an alert posture to support the crisis response mission in Africa over the course of a six-month deployment.
