U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Ospreys and KC-130Js with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa fly in formation for a large force integration of aviation capabilities, enroute to Rota, Spain, June 27, 2016. The current Aviation Combat Element composed of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 263 and a detachment from Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252 conducted a wide range of missions in support of bilateral and joint training exercises in Europe while maintaining an alert posture to support the crisis response mission in Africa over the course of a six-month deployment.
