Dara Flaherty (right), constructionman, and Brandon Wood, constructionman, cut scabs for king post trusses that will be support the new roof for one of the three school buildings at the Toros Elementary School in Marawi, Philippines, April 15. Flaherty and Woods will cut multiple scabs for 40 trusses to support a new roof. Nine Seabees part of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1 Detachment Philippines and assigned to Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines are adding new roofs, glass windows with screens, new internal walls, and doors to the school?s three buildings.
