The attack submarine USS Virginia makes her way up the Thames River to Submarine Base New London. Virginia is returning from the first six-month deployment of a Virginia-Class Submarine. Virginia traveled more than 37,000 miles while conducting operations in the U.S. European and U.S. Central Command areas of responsibility.
