Stephen Cottrell, a military policeman for Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center, is performing combat lifesaver skills on a simulated wounded Soldier during the Indiana Soldier of the Year and Non-commissioned Officer of the Year competition April 12, 2010. He was later awarded Indiana NCO of the Year and now is scheduled to compete in the regional competition.
