Spc. Patrick Minard is awarded Indiana Soldier of the
Year by the Indiana State Command Sergeant Major, Command Sgt. Maj. Gregory Rhoades after competing in the state competition at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center. He and eight other Soldiers competed in a two-day competition performing various training exercises, which included combatives, land navigation and a road march. Minard is now scheduled to compete in the regional competition.
