During the first day of a two day medical course, U.S. Navy Lt. John Reichley, from Philadelphia, helps embarked sailors from Gambia, Liberia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo dress a wound aboard the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock-landing ship USS Gunston Hall as part of the Africa Partnership Station West. Gunston Hall is on a scheduled deployment in West Africa in support of APS West, an international initiative developed by Naval Forces Europe and Naval Forces Africa that aims to improve maritime safety and security in West and Central Africa.
