Mrs. Sara Gassaway, spouse of Master Sgt. Jeffrey Gassaway, 16th Military Police Brigade, and registered nurse at Womack Army Medical Center, was given the Commander's Award for Civilian Service by Maj. Gen. Richard Clarke, commander of the 82nd Airborne Division during an awards ceremony, Fort Bragg, N.C. June 24. The Gassaways and Spc. Benjamin Rogers, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, and his family, noticed a car accident where the car was wrapped around a tree and on fire.
