During the ceremony, 16 Soldiers were recognized and sponsored into the U.S. Army's non-commissioned officer corps. Command Sgt. Maj. James T. Carr, the Air Defense Artillery Regimental command sergeant major and U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery School command sergeant major, served as the featured guest speaker for the event.
