GULF OF THAILAND (June 20, 2016) - The USS Stethem (DDG 63) sails in formation with ships from the Royal Thai Navy during combined operations at sea in support of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand. CARAT is a series of annual maritime exercises between the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand and Timor-Leste.
