Riders sit down with their families after a grueling bike race June 19 on MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. A total of 74 Status of Force Agreement personnel and Okinawa residents participated in two simultaneous races for both mountain bikes and road bikes. The cyclists raced through either a grueling 40 kilometer course for road bikes or a strenuous 20 kilometer course for mountain bikes that encompassed the flightline, parts of the Habu Trail and Futenma’s main road.
