The D Company, 478th Civil Affairs Battalion Soldiers Maj. Matt Pederson, from New Orleans, La., and 1st Sgt. Keith Boliek, from Coral Springs, Fla., display their unit's Yellow Banner and Welcome Home plaque upon its return from a deployment to the Horn of Africa at Army Support Activity-Dix's B Company April 5. D Co., 478th CA Bn. is an Army Reserve unit from Perrine, Fla. and conducted civil affairs missions including humanitarian assistance and country building development. The organization mobilized from ASA-Dix last spring and received a Yellow Banner which hung in Infantry Park while they were deployed as a symbolic reminder that the servicemen are in the thoughts and well-wishes of the ASA-Dix community.
