160615-N-QW941-170 DILI, Timor Leste (June 15, 2016) Timorese enter and exit the main corridor of Guido Valadares National Hospital. At the hospital, Pacific Partnership 2016 participants worked side-by-side with local health care providers to learn from each other, gain experience and increase one another's medical knowledge. This year marks the sixth time the mission visited Timor Leste since its first visit in 2006. Medical, engineering and various other personnel embarked aboard USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) are working side-by-side with partner nation counterparts, exchanging ideas, building best practices and relationships to ensure preparedness should disaster strike.
