Maj. Sarah Stevenson, commander of the 690th Rapid Port Opening Element out of Fort Eustis, Va., briefs Soldiers and distinguished visitors from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force on the unit’s operations in the Joint Logistics Over the Shore training at the Port of Tacoma, Wash., June 15. Units from Fort Eustis, the Washington State Army Reserve, National Guard and other governmental agencies provided logistical support during Cascadia Rising 2016.
