Recruits from Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, conduct Marine Corps Martial Arts Program techniques during Confidence Course I at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, June 13. Recruits practice MCMAP techniques throughout recruit training to prepare for the final MCMAP test, which is a graduation requirement. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Alpha Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 19.
